C. G. Pearson, 94, died Thursday, December 9, 2010 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Stinnett Cemetery with Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Pearson was born on September 10, 1916 in Decatur, TX and had been a Borger resident since 1945. He graduated from Electra High School in 1934. He retired after 35 years as an instrument man for Phillips Petroleum Co. and served in the US Navy during WW II in the Philippines. He married Viola Mitchell on December 23, 1936 at Fredrick, OK. He was a member of the First Assembly of God, loved sports and played golf and fished. He was preceded in death by his parents Monroe Carrie Pearson, and his brother Alvin Pearson.
He is survived by his wife Viola Vi Pearson of the home, two sons Tommy Pearson and wife Vel of Goltry, OK, Chris Pearson and wife Karen of Borger, four grandchildren and twelve greatgrandchildren.

The family will be staying at 1502 Hector in Borger.
