Clara Pullen

On June 6, Clara Jo Hayes Pullen left this earthly home and entered into the Kingdom of Heaven. She was 87 years young. She was born on April 2, 1928 to Minnie Murphy Hayes and Lawrence E. Hayes. Minnie died when Jo was four months old. Her Dad and paternal grandparents, Lawrence Hayes and Elizabeth Council Hayes, raised her. She married Scotty Ray Pullen on September 7, 1947.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Scotty and her son Edward Scott Pullen.

She is survived by her two daughters; Rebecca Pullen of Amarillo and Susan Booth of Cloudcroft, NM, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated because Jo loved all animals.

Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger was in charge of the cremation.
