Clarence Brown, Jr.

C. A. Brown, Jr., 83, died Monday, March 26th in Fritch.BRBRRosary services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church with Father Guillermo Morales, pastor officiating. Interment will be in The Field of Honor at Westlawn Memorial Park.

Mr. Brown was born on January 12, 1924 in Grand, Oklahoma. He had been a Fritch resident since 1960, moving here from Borger. He was a welder for Phillips Pipeline and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He married Wilda Miller on September 6, 1945 in Canadian. She preceded him in death in May, 2002.BRBRHe is survived by two sons - T. Leon Brown and wife, Janice of Amarillo, Norvell Brown and wife, Trish of Cotulla, Tx., daughter - Lavone Lee Roberts and husband, Mike of Fritch, sister - Winnie Sibley of Fritch, six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
