Clarence Paul Durisseau, 89, died December 14, 2021 in Borger. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Paul was born October 7, 1932 in Louisiana and moved to Fritch 25 years ago. He served as a policeman, EMT and Volunteer Firefighter for the city of Fritch until his retirement. As a young man he was in the top ten of bull riders and was a wrangler for John Wayne's horses for about ten years. He loved to listen to western movies, fish, helping others, his cowboy coffee and was very independent. He spoke Sioux, English and French and his favorite saying was "It will all come out in the wash." He especially loved his dog Button and soft Peppermint candy and lollipops.
Paul is survived by his friends Arthur and Gloria Schenk of Fritch and his Godson Robert Nelms of Florida and his nieces Myra and Linda, and friends Anetta, Betty, Lisa and Lupita.
