Clarence C.J. Parker, 82, died Friday, December 18, 2009 in Borger.

Graveside services will be 12 p.m. Monday, at Westlawn Memorial Park cemetery with Darrell Burton, Chaplain, Hospice Care of the Southwest officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

C.J. was born January 11, 1927 in Oklahoma to Clarence and Faye Parker. He had been a Borger resident for 65 years coming from Oklahoma. C.J. retired in 2004 from Groendyke Transport where he was a truck driver. Prior to working at Groendyke he worked at the Phillips Petroleum plant. Mr. Parker served in the Army Air Force where he spent most of his time in Guam.

Survivors include his wife Lottie of the home; sons Larry Parker and wife Donna of Borger, Terry Parker and wife Ruth of Mckinney; step son Wayne Winks of Borger; daughter Susan Poole and husband Steve of Spearman; step daughters Debbie Quezada of Amarillo, Kay West of Fritch, Penny Helms of Bangs, Texas; 2 brothers Johnny Parker and wife Lillie of Borger, Eddie Parker and wife Ann of Amarillo; 3 sisters Shirley Anderson of Darrozett, Bonnie Moore and husband James of Fritch, and Carol Lewis of Borger; 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by parents, 1 sister and, 1 brother.

Family will be at 431 California, and 521 Jackson St. in Borger.
