Clifford Cliff Graves, 60, died Monday, February 28, 2011, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God with Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Cliff was born on November 30, 1950 in Kansas City, Kansas to Clifford E. and Dorothy Graves, and was a longtime resident of Borger. He married Kathryn Gray in 1974 in Borger. He worked for the City of Borger for 15 years, Phillips Petroleum Co. for 13 years, KQTY for 10 years, BISD for 8 years and Guardsmark Security for 8 years as a supervisor. He served in the U.S. Navy during Viet Nam and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Borger. He enjoyed tinkering with cars, collecting hats, working with the homeless, and he loved his grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford Skip and Dorothy Graves, and a granddaughter Ainsley Denny.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Kathy Graves of the home, two daughters Mellessa Denny and husband Steven and Stephanie McLoughlin and husband Jon all of Amarillo, grandson Grant Denny of Amarillo, sister Ruth Evelyn Thorp and husband Fred of Lenexa, Kansas, brother Steve Graves and wife Renee of Borger, six nephews and four nieces, nine greatnephews and four greatnieces.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 2201 Civic Circle, Suite 514, Amarillo, TX 79109.

Casket bearers will be James Grossman, James Stevens, Jerry Bennett, Joey Barnett, Kenny Coleman and Harold Lowery.
