Clifford Harbison

Clifford Harbison, 88, of Amarillo, died Friday, July 25, 2014 in Amarillo.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Park Place Towers Parlor in Amarillo, Jerry Bell, Minister, of Park Place Towers, will be officiating at both services.

Cliff was born March 3, 1926 in White Deer, Texas to Oscar and Eddith Harbison. He proudly served our country in the Navy, on a destroyer, during World War II. Cliff worked at Pioneer Oil Company, whose name later changed to Cabbot Oil Company, where he retired after 35 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents a sister, Jean Garner a son, Larry Harbison stepson and daughterinlaw, Don and Jane Fisher.

Survivors include his wife, Twyla three daughters, Brenda Pardee and husband, Jim, Linda Phillips and husband, Richard, Francine Schaffer eleven grandchildren and fourteen greatgrandchildren.
