Clyde Lane Harrington, 61, of Borger died October 2, 2012 at his home in Borger. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Jerry Lane, White Deer United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Clyde was born October 14, 1950 in Borger to Merle and Alice Miller Harrington, he was a lifetime resident of Borger. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Clyde was a machinist for R and M Energy and was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. He was past Worshipful Master of Isom Masonic Lodge 1242 and a graduate of Borger High School in 1969.
He was preceded in death by his father Merle and his daughter Shelly Ray in 1997.
Clyde is survived by his wife Rita, his mother Alice Harrington of Borger, his son Shannon Ray of Carrollton, TX, his 2 brothers Merle Harrington and his wife Susie of Arlington, TX and Robin Harrington and his wife Mary of Borger, his sister Mary Klein of Georgetown, TX and many nieces and nephews.
Casket bearers will be Drew Millard, Tim Millard, Jack Janow, Dennis Ritchie, Larry Barlow, Dave Whitely, Dale Klein and Shawn Harrington.
