Connie Smith

Connie Beth Smith, 69, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

A celebration of Connie's life will be held at 5 pm Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Medipark in Amarillo. Please let the family know by email (lora_smith@yahoo.com)if you are able to attend as they will be having a cookout and would like to make sure they have enough food. Cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Connie was born October 7, 1945 in Dickens, Texas to Conley and Lora (Ladd) Smith. She married Bob Smith on July 9, 1961 in Spur, Texas. Connie enjoyed play games and spending time with friends at Lake Medina. Nothing brought more joy to her life than being with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Home Ray Smith; and sisters, Peggy Wages and Kathy Whitson.

Survivors include her son, Blain Smith of Fritch; daughter, Lora Smith of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Mason, Gavin and Ethan; and a sister, Nettie Prichard.
