Constance Joy Freeman Wilson passed away in Spearman, Texas on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Connie was born on March 8, 1933, in Seward, Oklahoma to Neal and Ruby Freeman. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lawrence Wilson, her eldest son Larry Wilson, two brothers Royal Freeman and Rome Freeman.

Connie attended school at Stafford County Public School in Seward, Oklahoma and transferred to Great Bend High School to complete her education. While attending Great Bend High, her oldest brother Royal introduced her to his good friend, Lawrence Arnold Wilson. After graduation, Connie and Lawrence were married on June 24, 1951, in Great Bend, Kansas.

August 2, 1953, their first son was born, Lawrence Arnold Wilson, Jr., their only daughter Cynthia Jo Wilson was born on, March 11, 1956. In January, 1957 the family moved to Perryton, Texas and Connie took a job with the United States Post Office. Their second son, Craig Freeman Wilson was born on December 2, 1963.

In 1966, Connie pursued her lifelong dream and started her own business, Connie's Photography. On August 23, 1968, she resigned from the Post Office and the family moved back to Great Bend, Kansas. She continued her business, specializing in Wedding Photography.

May, 1969, Lawrence accepted a new job and the family moved back to Texas, in Borger. Connie continued taking photographs and opened Connie's Bridal & Formal Wear, she retired in 1995. Through her many years of photography, Connie photographed over 3,000 weddings, from all over Texas, Kansas, Washington State and Missouri. Connie's favorite past time was bowling. She bowled for many years in league and was president of the Borger Women's Bowling Association. She was blessed with a beautiful family and many dear friends. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life and she spent most of her time spoiling them.

Survivors include her daughter Cindy Dickey and husband Joe Dickey of Borger, their daughters, Carissa Cannon and husband Patrick Cannon of Newberry, South Carolina and Shannon Anderson and husband Phil Anderson of Amarillo, Texas, her son Craig Wilson and wife Lori Wilson, their daughter Leah Wilson and son, Micah Wilson of Borger, Texas and her Daughter-In-Law Tracy Wilson and daughter Danielle Wilson of Loveland, Colorado.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, 11:00 at Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Hall of Grace Church officiating. Burial is at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
