Cordie Jo Knight, 95, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024.

Graveside services will be held 11am on Saturday, August 10, 2024, in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. 

Cordie was born September 17, 1928, in Durant, Oklahoma to David Albert Stanford and Mary White Stanford. She married Richard Edmond Knight on September 14, 1956, in Clayton, New Mexico. Cordie worked for 25 years as a teller at PBT Bank in Borger. Richard and Cordie were members of the Allegro Motor Home Club for several years and spent a lot of time traveling. They were also members of Fairlanes Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, doing oil painting, and attending Sunday School. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her family and spending time together. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Mary Stanford; husband, Richard Knight; daughter, Patricia Keller; sisters, Ollie Stidham, Janie Rowe, Helen Smiley; and brothers, Aaron Stanford, Johnny Stanford, Dennis Stanford. 

Survivors include her daughter, Iris Wood and husband Jess of Amarillo; grandchildren, Donna Miller and husband Scott, Susie Scott and husband Greg, Michael Keller and wife Nickie, Nick Keller, Amy Nichols and husband Brandon; great grandchildren, Caleb Miller and wife Lindsay, Jacob Miller, Travis Scott, Trevor Scott, Meredith Scott, Dakota Keller, Kimber Nichols, Ellie Keller; great-great grandchildren, Emmitt Miller, Courtlynn Miller; brothers, Jerry Stanford and Sylvia Witt of Borger, Derrell Stanford and wife Betty of Fritch; sister, Opaline Flood of Borger; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
