Danny Roselius

Danny Joe Roselius, 61, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, February 15, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Panhandle with Pastor Josh Light officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to the Gideons, First Baptist Panhandle or to a charity of choice.

Danny was born July 3, 1959 in Amarillo to Dale Joe Roselius and Peggy Lou Hanson Roselius.  He worked as an engineer for Pantex. Danny was a Gideon, had a teacher’s heart and would help anyone in need.  He enjoyed motorcycles, woodworking, telling stories.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Marva of Panhandle; parents, Dale and Peggy Roselius of Panhandle; daughters, Ashley Dawn Kops (Jesse) of Amarillo, Valerie Akpan (Benson) of Dallas, Mollie Burnam (Leah Sunderman) of Panhandle, Landie Throgmorton (Cory) of Panhandle; four grandchildren, Kadence, Scott, Mason, Hadlie; sister, Cindy McAden (Mark) of Frisco and nephews Derek and Dylan McAden.

The family requests that everyone please wear a face covering due to Covid 19 at the visitation as well as the service.

The service will be live streamed on 1st Baptist Church Facebook page and recorded on this obituary for 90 days after the service.
