Daryl Daves

Daryl Shawn Daves, 46, of Claude died Saturday August 7th at Amarillo, Texas.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday August 10th at Claude Cemetry with Rev. Richard Gravley, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Claude officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Daryl was born July 22, 1964 at Groom, Texas to Robert Lee and Lota Mae Daves. He was atruck driver but his passion was volunteering for the Claude Fire Department which he had been servibg the community for the last 20 years.He was preceded in death by his mother Lota Mae Eades Daves in 1995.

He is survived by his father Robert Lee Daves of Claude, Texas, brother David Daves and wife Brenda of Panhandle, nieces Sabrina Daves of Stephenville, Texas and Brittney Daves of Canyon, Texas and a special friend Patti Wheeler.
