Davey Hendon

Davey E. Hendon, 70, peacefully passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013.
A private burial service will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers our family is suggesting a donation be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 731231718.

Davey was born November 16, 1942 in Stephenville, Texas to J.E. Hendon, Sr. and Mattie Ruth Garrett Hendon. He married Marcia Reed March 24, 1962 in Borger and quietly went about his life as a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather throughout their 51 years of marriage.

Davey is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dorothy Lee Patterson.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia two sons, Steven Hendon and his wife, Genia, their daughters Jordan Hendon Kettlewood and husband Gregory, and Morgan Hendon Shaun Hendon and his daughter Chelsie Hendon Brothers, J.E. Hendon, Jr. and his wife Mary and Bill Hendon and his wife Marclyn BrotherinLaw Larry Reed and his wife Sue, their daughters Shannon and Stephanie numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Our family wishes to thank our friends for the help and support they have given us during this difficult time.
