David Lynn Howard

David Lynn Howard, 43, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Grace Church with Pastor Tim Hall officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to Donate Life America, 5516 Falmouth Street, Suite 302, Richmond, Virginia, 23230.

David was born October 8, 1979, in Borger, Texas to Dennis Earl Howard and Deborah Kay Morrow Howard.  He graduated from Stinnett High School in 1998.  David married Candace Cox on October 11, 2008, in Las Vegas.  He worked as an electrician for Byrum Electrical Company.  David previously volunteered with the Stinnett VFD.  He adored spending quality time with his kids usually playing catch or Barbies.  David also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Howard; mamaw, Clara Merle Howard; papaw, Hubert “Doc” Howard; and uncle, David Lee Howard.

Survivors include his wife, Candace; son, Haven; daughter, Hailey; father, Dennis Howard; father-in-law, Joe Cox; brother, Richard Howard and wife Reagan; niece, Aspen Howard; nephew, Talon Howard; and a host of extended family and friends.
