David Land

David Allen Land, 58, died Monday, January 31, 2011 in Borger.

Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Operating Engineers Union Hall with Tim Clifton, Chaplain of the Iron Riders Motorcycle Club officiating. Cremation is under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

David was born on October 18, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri and had been a Fritch resident for 28 years. He married Victoria Vikki Stucker on November 4, 1974 in Leavenworth, Kansas. David loved motorcycles and was president of the North Panhandle Chapter of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Pete Land and mother Helen Land.

He is survived by his wife Victoria Vikki Land of the home, son Josh Land of Fritch, daughter Danyell LandHughes and husband Hale of Woodville, TX, brother Tom Land of Olathe, KS, five grandchildren Mykeala Lutz, Tyla Land, Hallee Hughes, Madeline Land and Hawk Hughes and one greatgrandchild Allee De La Garza.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Borger funeral home.
