David Mitchell

David Edward Mitchell, 64 of Borger went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 11, 2021, in Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, September 16, 2021, in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. There will be a visitation for family and friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at the funeral home.

David was born November 7, 1956, in Borger to Jesse Elmer and Mary Lou (Levings) Mitchell. He married Letha Matthews April 5, 1998, in Borger. He loved collecting coins and tinkering with things.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Bob,Bruce; and a sister, Nancy.

Surviving is his wife, Letha; sons, Christopher Mitchell and his wife Candice of Oklahoma, Joshua Mitchell and his wife Karie of Borger, Michael Mitchell and his wife Jen of Amarillo; daughters, Aleta Wiles of Hinton, Oklahoma, Tammy Brown of Borger; brothers, Roger Mitchell and his wife Lisa of Borger, Billy Mitchell and his wife Sheila of Amarillo; sisters, Brenda and Skinny Wagner of Borger, Cheryl Mitchell of Borger; sixteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
