David Schroeder

David Schroeder, 66, went to his heavenly home on November 13, 2020. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday November 16, 2020 at the First Baptist Church Worship Center with Pastor Chris Riley, First Baptist Church in Idalou, TX officiating.  Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. For those attending the service the family requests that you wear a mask and practice social distancing. Memorial donations may be made in David's name to First Baptist Church Borger Youth Ministry.

David was born on June 16, 1954 in Borger to Howard Jackson Schroeder and Lula Earline Schroeder. He married Nickie Garrison, his high school sweetheart, on June 7, 1973. He retired from Conoco Phillips as a Pump Mechanic after thirty-six years of service. He loved bow hunting, going to the family cabin at Red River, traveling and spending time with grandkids and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jackie Schroeder, his sister Anna Burks, his father-in-law W. L. Garrison and his mother-in-law Curley Garrison Ross.

David is survived by his wife of forty seven years Nickie, his daughter Amber Riley and her husband Chris of Idalou, TX, his son Cody Schroeder and Whitney Easley of Borger, his grandchildren Bryson, Dawson, Lauren, Micah, Braylee, Baylee and Bentlee, his brothers Gary Schroeder and his wife Barbie of Borger, Glenn Schroeder and his wife Cathi of Brownwood, Mike Schroeder and Ann of Amarillo, Tommy Harwell and his wife Rene of Cleburne, George and Rhonda Register of Borger and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends that are family.
