David Earnest Vanover, 74, died December 1, 2021 in Sanford. A Celebration of His Life will be held Saturday December 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Sanford with Pastor Larry Brock, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
David was born May 23, 1947 in Haskell, TX to Earnest Lee Vanover and Margie Louise Holcomb Vanover. He lived his whole life in Texas doing construction all over the state. He loved to fish, hunt and building and fixing things. David was involved in Law Enforcement, he was a Paramedic Trainer and taught Scuba Diving. He was an animal lover from skunks to pigs and dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Guy Vanover and his brother Danny Vanover.
David is survived by his special friend Maxine Harter, his three sons Allen Frost and his wife Lori of Fritch, Russell Vanover of Waco and Justin Vanover and his wife Tamara of Clovis, NM, his daughter Mischelle Tremillo of Borger, his nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, his brother Tommy Vanover and his wife Mary of Fritch, his sister Peggy Green and her husband Bo of Amarillo and numerous nieces and nephews.
