David Wiseman

Panhandle David Elmon Wiseman, 73, died Wednesday, March 21.

Services will be at 10 A.M., Monday, at the First Baptist Church in Amarillo with Rev. Howard Batson, officiating and Rev. Steve Vernon, Baptist General Convention assisting. Burial will be in the Panhandle Cemetery. Arrangements are by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Wiseman was born on December 14, 1938 in Manila, Philippines to Ruben and Dorothy Kayser Wiseman. He married Alice Jane Janie Machen on March 19, 1965 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a member of the Amarillo Civic Chorus and the Baptist Singing Men of Texas.

Survivors include a son, David L. Wiseman and wife Caroline of Albuquerque NM daughters Polly Stevens and husband Scott of Gatesville, TX, and Amy WisemanAshley and husband Jason Roy of Pontiac, MI. One brother and six grandchildren.

Family visitation will be Sunday, March 25, from 24 p.m., at the Minton Chatwell Funeral Home in Panhandle.
