De Mayes, 48, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in Borger.

Mrs. Mayes was born on September 27, 1961 in Claude, Texas to Howard and Dee Newton. She had been a Borger resident for 20 years, moving here from Fritch. She married Billy Jack Mayes on November 19, 1994 in Stinnett, TX. She worked in convenient stores and was a homemaker. She enjoyed art, crocheting, playing with her son Ty, and cooking, and she loved her dog, Gimpy.

De is survived by her mother Dee Austin of Panhandle, husband Billy Jack Mayes of the home, two sons Ty Poohbear Mayes of the home, R. J. Casey of Missouri, stepdaughter Mirranda Molina and husband Gelgico of Ardmore, OK, grandma Edna Fish of Panhandle and nine grandchildren.
