Shelly Hunter Cathey, 36, died Monday, November 12, 2007 in her home in Canyon.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Grace Fellowship Church with Mr. Richard Kasko, Minister of the Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRShelly was born on August 21, 1971 in Borger. She had lived in Canyon for ten years. She was a 1989 graduate of Borger High and was in band from the 6th to the 11th grades. She was also a member of the National Honor Society, Business Professionals of America, Who's Who in American High School Students and the First United Methodist Church of Canyon. She was preceded in death by her grandfather - Casey Hunter.BRBRShe is survived by three sons - Casey Cathey, Jordan Cathey and Bryce Cathey all of Canyon, parents - Larry Donna Hunter of Fritch, brother - Larry Scott Hunter of Canyon and sister - Mindy Hunter of Amarillo and grandmother, Joyce Hunter of Borger.BRBRMemorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society National Panhandle Chapter, 6222 Canyon Dr., Amarillo 79109.
