Dennis Hillius

Dennis "Denny" Hillius was granted his angel wings on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

Services will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Tim Hall officiating. Burial to follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Denny was born June 22, 1941 in Conrad, Montana to Dutch Hillius and Hazel Abbott Hillius. He married Hilda Mae Bryant on September 5, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Denny retired as a field operator for Phillips after 40 years of service. He liked to travel and was an avid collector of stamps and coins. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hilda Hillius; brothers, Richard and Don Hillius and granddaughter, Tiffany Sellers Chaplin.

Survivors include his son, Tony Sellers and Noel Doose of Borger; daughter, Renee Bentley and husband Robert of Fritch; grandchildren, Richard Motes and wife Lucy of San Diego, CA, Levi Bentley and wife Beckee of Maui, HI, Desiree Foster and husband John Mark of Yukon, OK; great-grandchildren, Jordan Chaplin, Naomi Rodriguez, Anthony Motes, Hannah and Ezra Bentley, Ian, Ryan and Charlotte Foster; sister, Donna Garcia and husband Ralph of Scottsbluff, NE; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friends, John and Bonnie Sellers.
