Dennis Sanchez

Dennis Lee Sanchez, 69, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 7, 2020.

A celebration of his life will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 10, 2020 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Jake Minton officiating.

Dennis was born in Borger to Andres Saenez Sanchez and Josephine Gomez Sanchez.  Dennis went to Fritch High School where he was a football star, ran track, played basketball and boxed.  He loved being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.   He worked many years in the oil field, until he retired.

He is preceded in death by he is parents; sister, Helen Sanchez-Ferguson; and brothers, Andrew, George and Joe Sanchez.

Survivors include his wife, Paula of Fritch; son, Dennis Lee Sanchez, Jr. of Borger; daughters, Leslie Michelle Sanchez-Flores and husband Raymond of Amarillo; step-daughter, Kayla Marie Chapman of Canyon; twelve grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Anthony, Alex, Meagan, Serena, Leah, Silver, Dakota, Harmony, Kaden, Xavier, Anthony; three great grandchildren, Bentley, Ava, Catalina; sisters, Elida Sanchez Naslund and husband Rick of Amarillo, Elisa Sanchez Prock of Fritch, Elena Sanchez of Fritch; and a host of extended family.
