Devin Hooks

Devin James Hooks, 21, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015.

A memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Borger First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Terry Porter, officiating. Arrangements are with Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Devin was born May 21, 1993 in Borger to James and Penny Hooks. He enjoyed playing paintball, his bass guitar and singing. Devin was an avid Xbox player and artist who enjoyed drawing. Nothing brought more joy to his life the spending time with his cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ann Boatright; and great grandparents, Mary and Claude Hooks, Sr., Mae Boatright and Margaret LeFore.

Survivors include his parents, James and Penny Hooks of Stinnett; sisters, Mara Hooks of Amarillo, Jamie Hooks of Sweeney, Texas; three nephews, Jacoby, Luciano, and Cade; one niece, Qiersten; grandparents, Linda and Don Hooks, Sr. of Stinnett, Diane and James Boatright of Middleburg, Florida; aunts and uncles, Shelly and Jack Pennington of Stinnett, Charlotte and Don Hooks, Jr. of Crosby, Tammy Hooks of Stinnett, Tami Boatright of Borger, Kendra McDowell of Rockmart, Georgia; and numerous cousins.
