Diann Woods

Diann Rasco Woods, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Amarillo. She was born on July 15, 1950 in Paris, Texas to Clarence and Annie Lorene (Sargent) Rasco. Diann was a cashier in retail for many years. She loved to do water color paintings and go shopping.
Diann is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Samuel Benjamin Woods, III; daughter, Lorien Velasquez; brothers, Herald Rasco, Troy Rasco, Samuel Rasco, and Rodger Rasco; her sister, Laquita Rasco; and a niece, Lola Ritchie.
Diann is survived by her sisters, Hope Hanson and husband, Mike of Goodyear, AZ, Charlene Goldman of Amarillo, TX, Jewel Cannon and husband, George of Fritch, TX, and Barbara Goolsby also of Amarillo; Grandchildren, Chayce Jordan, Kiersten Lopez, Tatiana Velasquez, Alexander Velasquez.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, August 3 at Minton Memorial Chapel, officiated by Chaplain John Elser, of the VA. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 2 at the funeral home.
