Dixie Wilson

Dixie Everett Wilson, 91, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 in Amarillo.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister of Fritch Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be in the Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Wilson was born June 14, 1917 in Enos, OK and had been a Borger resident since 1945. She married James Millard Wilson, Sr. on September 10, 1934 in Madill, OK and he preceded her in death in 2004.

She is survived by one daughter, Zearlene Smith of Borger, TX and a son, James Millard Wilson, Jr. and wife, Cheryl also of Borger, TX, grandchildren Todd Wilson, Paula Francis, Terry and Traci OSteen, Kellye and Lance Baker, Jayme Wilson, Lisa and Ron Velasco, Carol and Stan Smith and Tim and Kelly Smith, great grandchildren Ashton Austin, Curtis Baker, Casey OSteen, Casey and Kenny Vardore, Nick and Tina Francis, Alexis DeBord, Terran and Zayne Velasco, and Jacob, Bailey and J.T. Shults. She is also survived by one great, great grandchild, Kaydence Francis.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
