Dolores Mohon

Dolores Carol Mohon, 77, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Amarillo.

Celebration of Life service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Panhandle with Rev. Larry Perkins, pastor officiating. Interment will be in the Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Mrs. Mohon was born on September 17, 1932 in Kingman County, Kansas and had been a Panhandle resident since 1982. She moved to Canyon in August, 2009. Dolores married Howard Leon Mo Mohon on March 23, 1983 in Panhandle. He preceded her in death in December, 2003. She was a retired antique dealer.

She is survived by three sons Jimmy Lee Wilson of Mt. Juliet, TN, Kenneth Roy Wilson of Kyle, TX, Thomas Edward Wilson of Wichita, KS, step-son Wayne Mohon of Dimmitt, TX, two daughters Carol Sue Adame of Canyon, TX, Sherryl Simon of Maize, KS, seventeen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.

Casket Bearers will be Wayne Mohon, Chris Adame, Bruce Simon, Derek Wilson, Craig Wilson and Lynn Jennings.
