Justeen Donovan Zollars 87, went to be with his Lord and Savior March 7, 2018 in Pampa Tx. Celebration of his Life will be 10:00 am March 12, 2018 in Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the funeral home.
Don was born November 4, 1930 in Longton, Kansas to Justeen T. Zollars and Mary Nadine Hammond. After graduating from Phillips High School in 1949 he joined the U.S. Navy. After returning home from the service Don worked for the United States Postal Service for 25 years. Don enjoyed good old country music, square dancing, model cars and watching Gone with the Wind. Don learned how to play the guitar at the young age of 7 years. He loved to play and sing those old style country music songs. But his most enjoyment came from visiting with his girls and grandchildren.
He is preceded by his father Justeen T. Zollars and mother Mary Nadine Hammond, one brother Darrel Zollars and grandson Tony Johnson.
Survivors include his daughters Nancy Gee of Richardson, Karla Northcutt and husband Roger of Pampa, Debbie Rock of Allen; grandchildren Jay Johnson, J.J. Gee, David Gee, Tiffany Rock, Jennifer Hoback, Ashley Edge; great grandchildren Charlotte Hueitt, Racheal Tomlinson, Justin Gee, Johnna Gee, Kaden Light, Kraig Light, Kloe Light, Kimi Light, Gabbi Edge, Rylin Edge, Tessa Scott, Tyler Peck and great-great grandchildren Kaylea Bryant, Drayden Burris, Riley McGreoger, Kyle Tomlin, Tyler Tomlin. Also one sister Gail Zollars of Yukon, Ok and one brother Leonard Zollars of Fritch. Several nieces and nephews and beloved friend Oreta McKinney of Johnson, Kansas.
