Donald Followill

Fritch Donald Wayne Followill, 72, a 33 year resident of Fritch died Saturday in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Donald served his country in the U. S. Navy for 22.5 years, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He served as a Hospital Corpsman in the Fleet Marine Force in Viet Nam. He was the manager of the Fritch Medical Clinic for 4 years. He was an AMT XRay Technologist. He loved boating, fishing, bowling and woodworking. He was a Scoutmaster, a Shriner and a Mason. He married Dorothy Jean Kirkover July 19, 1957 in Oahu Territory in Hawaii.
Mr. Followill was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Walter Followill and his granddaughter Brandi Lynn Harris.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Jean, 2 Sons Michael Followill and wife Sharon of Amarillo and Rodney Followill and wife Martha of Ft. Drum, NY and 1 daughter Theresa Coffee and husband Tony of Borger, 14 Grandchildren and 5 GreatGreat Grandchildren.
