Donald Greenwood

Donald E. Greenwood, 76, of Fritch died Thursday May 31, 2012 in Amarillo.

Funeral service will be 2:00 Tuesday in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Garden of Serenity under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Don was a resident of Borger for 75 years. He retired from being a mens hair stylist at his business the Coachman and then traveled with his loving wife Frankie. He served in the U. S. Army in Formosa, he married Frankie Jameson on July 1, 1961 in Clayton, NM. Don was a member of the Full Gospel Businessmen Organization, he learned to speak and write Cherokee, he used his shop as his ministry and he ministered Gods word to many. He was ordained by the Worldwide Bible Fellowship.

Don was preceded in death by his son Randy in 2004 and his sister Joyce Ferguson in 2002.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frankie, his brother Jim Greenwood and his wife Katy of College Station, TX and his sister Sharon Klinger of Borger, 4 Grandchildren Joshua, TaSheena, Tiana and Tresta and 1 GreatGrandson Elijah.

The family will be at 1506 Hector St. in Borger.
