BorgerBRBRDonald Don Gene Hooper, 79, passed away Sunday June 21, 2009 at home. Services will be 10:30 am Thursday at the Church of Christ at Borger. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRDon was born May 5, 1930 at Elk City, Oklahoma to Talbot and Pearl Hooper. He served in the US Army durring the Korean Conflict. He married Colleen Wilson Nov. 19, 1959 in Borger. Don retired from Bob Johnson Motor Company as a Body Shop Manager. He lived in Borger for 65 years. Don was a member of Church of Christ at Borger where he had been a deacon and the Kiwanis Club where he was imediate past president. Don loved to make wooden crosses.BRBRDon is survived by his wife Colleen. Sons Bobby and wife Vera of Garland, Tx., Todd and wife Carla of Abilene, Tx., Donny of Pampa, Tx. Daughters Tina and husband Kline Addington of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Brenda Hooper of Abilene, Tx. Thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.BRBR
