Donald Hough

Donald Floyd Hough, 79, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday, September 29, 2016 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to the Alzheimer's Association.

Donald was born May 20, 1937 in Muleshoe, Texas to Syble Bell Garth and Truman Dodd Hough. Donald married the love of his life, Juanita Stanton, on March 10, 1956. He sold insurance for American National Insurance for 30 years. Donald enjoyed hunting arrowheads, being outdoors and attending the boy's football and basketball games. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his grandkids and great grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Joe Abernathy.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Juanita of the home; sons, DeWayne Hough and wife Kim of Fritch, Charles Hough of Denison, Texas, James Deryl Hough and wife Suzy of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter, Donnita Hough of Littleton, Colorado; grandkids, Kisha Brown, Dara Garlington, Dusty Hough, Saje Williamson, Chantz Hough, Andrew Hough, Dakota Hough, Lauren Hough, Hayden Hough; seven great grandkids; and brother-in-law, James Abernathy.
