Donald Vandergriff

Donnie Paul Vandergriff, 63, died on Monday, July 1, 2013 in Borger. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, at Westlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Leonard Forsythe officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Donnie was born to Shelah and Frances Vandergriff in Borger, where he was a lifetime resident. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Donnie was a welder for Phillips Petroleum and owner of Corner Pocket. He was an artist, enjoying sculpting and painting.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents.

Donnie is survived by his sons, David Paul Vandergriff and wife Monica Reyna of Denver, Colorado, and Gary Winks and wife Liz of Borger daughters, Brooke Vandergriff and husband Toby Ritchie of Amarillo, Denise Jones and husband Mark, Terry Hysmith, and Holly Davis, all of Borger brother, Eddie Vandergriff and wife Debra of Borger Sisters Dorislene Bergitold and husband Bob, and Shelah Hatfield and husband Larry of Reno, Nevada his companion Glenda Lois Wink of Borger Ten Grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
