Donna Kay Hurst

Donna Kay Hurst, 67, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, December 29, 2023, in the Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger with Pastor Shelby Deatherage officiating.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. 

Donna was born August 14, 1956, in Borger to Berdet W. Miller and Margaret Durham Miller.  She married Sherman Hurst on December 22, 1975, in Clayton, New Mexico.  Donna enjoyed riding four wheelers, being in the mountains, antiquing, and retail therapy of any kind; however, QVC held a special place on her shopping list. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her grandkids. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Berdet and Margaret Miller; and brother, Ronnie Miller. 

Survivors include her husband, Sherman of Fritch; daughters, Christy Daly and husband John of Fritch, April Hulsey and husband Jason of Angel Fire; grandchildren, Stetson Lewis and husband Gustavo, Shiloh Mills and wife Paige, Sheyenne Mills, Skylar Mills, Colton Hulsey and Maddie, Casey Hulsey and America, Christian Hulsey; great grandchildren, Paisley, Brynleigh, Braxton, Rhiannon; brother, Rodney "Moe" Miller and wife Beth of Fritch; and a host of extended family. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice for the kindess and care that was given to Donna.
