Dora Jean Henslee Faulkner, 64, of Borger passed away in Vinita, Oklahoma February 17, 2016.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe of the Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the "Garden of Serenity" at Westlawn Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm. Monday, February 22, 2016 at the funeral home.
Dora Jean Henslee Faulkner was born August 21, 1951 in Borger, Texas to Johnnie D. and Mary E. (Mayo) Henslee. She retired from Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company in 2007, where she worked as a field operator. Her job required relocation multiple times, but considered Borger her home town. Dora was a Baptist and loved working with Helping Hands when she could. She loved to cook, especially baking candy, and cakes. Dora also loved to read, and collect cook books. She actually wanted to publish her own cook book. Dora donated a lot of her time to help people in need.
Dora Jean is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, John David Henslee.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Kerbo of Borger; two brothers, Don Henslee and wife Sylvia of Vinita, Oklahoma, Dan Henslee of Borger; sister-in-law, Sammie Henslee of Fritch; two grandsons, Dakota Kerbo of Fritch, and Logan Kerbo of Borger.
