Dora Mclane

Dora Garcia McLane, 85, of Borger passed away May 29th in Amarillo. Rosary will be Tues. June 1, 6 pm at Minton Memorial Chapel. Funeral mass will be Wed. 11: 00 am at St. Johns Catholic Church with Msgr. Michael Colwell officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Devotion at Highland Park Cemetery with MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Dora was born April 21, 1925 at Logan, NM to Adam and Sofia Garcia. She retired from Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married Wayburn McLane August 29, 1959 in Borger.She was an artist painting portraits and landscapes. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of the home. Daughters Gina Shelton and husband Lem of Borger, Frances Gray of Iowa City, Iowa, Carmen Dunn and husband Robert of North Liberty, Iowa. Step son Roger McLane and wife Brenda of Carthidge, Texas. Step Daughter Patricia Miller of Reno Nevada. Sisters Beatrice George of Houston, Texas and Teresa Vasquez of San Antonio, Texas. Eleven Grandchldren, Six Great Grandchildren and Seven great Great grandchildren.
