Doratt Baker

Doratt Baker, 71, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013.

Ms. Baker will lie in state from 9 am to 8 pm Friday at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Doratt was born August 15, 1942 in Moorhead, Iowa to George and Hilda Vandivort. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Panhandle. A loving mother and grandmother, she was most proud to be a great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents husband, Paul Baker brothers, Frank and John Vandivort and sister, Thelma Dunkenson.

Survivors include her daughters, Myra Baker and her significant other, Don Weber of Lemars, Iowa, Paula Duckett and her significant other, Jimmy Castilleja of Panhandle brother, George Vandivort and his wife, Carol of Mapleton, Iowa sister, Roberta Baker and her husband, Don of Omaha, Arkansas two grandchildren, Emily and Kelly Duckett one great grandson, Isaiah Haines numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family.
