P BorgerBRBRDoris Janice Jones, 88, died Friday, October 3, 2008 in Borger.BRBR A Rosary is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Sunday in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Jim Wolf officiating. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Saint John's Catholic Church with Father Rovi officiating. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Garden in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. BR Doris was born on May 5, 1920 in Moline, Kansas to Bruce J. and Elizabeth Findley. She was a homemaker and member of St. John's Catholic Church. During World War II she worked for Boeing Aircraft. Doris married George D. Jones on October 15, 1946 in Moline, Kansas. She had been a Borger resident since 1948 when she and George moved here from Grenola, Kansas. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, to laugh and traveling with her special coffee bunch. Mrs. Jones was preceeded in death by her parents - Bruce and Elizabeth Findley; her husband - George; a son - Tom A. Jones; a brother and a sister. BRBR Survivors include two sons - Joey D. Jones of Borger, Mickey Jones and wife Connie of Shamrock; three daughters - Debbie Rogers and husband Denny, Becky Riggle and husband Jerry Don all of Borger, Karen McKee and husband Mike of Guymon, OK.; a Daughter-in-law - Susan Jones of Fritch; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice. Family will be staying at 1504 Cooley in Borger.BRBRBRBRP
