Doris Meek

Doris Loulene Meek, 84, went to meet her Lord September 11, 2021 in Amarillo.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

She was born December 20, 1936 in Pampa to Lewis Homer Hunter and Mamie Alline Reedy Hunter.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she accepted Christ and was baptized in 1951.  Doris married Don Meek December 24, 1956 in Clayton, New Mexico.  She loved her family and friends but mostly loved her Lord and her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Sharon Chatwell.

Doris is survived by her two sons, Randy Meek and his wife Tina of Borger, Mike Meek and his wife Deanne of Fritch; her daughter, Sharri Sullivan and her husband Terry of Borger; her grandchildren, Stacie Armes and husband Brant, Casey Sullivan, Justin Meek and wife Becky, Jodie Meek and wife Amy, Jordan Meek and wife Angelica, Ryan Barbour and wife Megan, Blakely Meek and Emmy Meek; her great-grandchildren, Milly, Carter, Camryn, Caden, Branson, Logan, Jett, Jaxon, Ainsley, Judd, Allison, Gray and Hunter.
