Doris Nash

Doris Elizabeth Nash, 99, died Wednesday, March 3, 2009 in Borger.

Mrs. Nash will lie in state in our Borger Funeral Home on Thursday and then in our Panhandle location on Friday and Saturday until the service.

BRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Panhandle with Rev. Glen Nash of Blue Springs, MO. officiating. Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery.BRBRMrs. Nash was born on April 2, 1909 in Waverly, Kansas. She moved to Borger in 1934 and then to Panhandle in 1960. She married Bryan Edgar Nash on August 22,1934 in Norman, OK and he preceded her in death in 1972. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister, three daughters - Alice Maye Milam, Charlene Nash Milam, Fannie Nash Kirkland, two sons - John Timothy Nash, Howard Rex Nash and one grandson - Tommy Ray Goode. She was a homemaker.BRBRShe is survived by her daughter - Wanda Nash Goode husband Wayne of Borger, daughter-in-laws - Joyce Nash of Shawnee, OK, Lavaughn Nash of Missouri, nine grandchildren - Janet Sue Milam, James Kirkland, Richard Kirkland, David Kirkland, Mike Goode, Floyd Nash, Suzi Taboris, Donna Houston, Glen Nash, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
