Dorothy Jean Hayes, 80 of Fritch died Saturday May 31st in Fritch. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Dorothy was born March 20, 1934 in Roswell, NM to Buck R. and Geneva Hastings Spurrier. She married Donald Hayes December 29, 1951 in Roswell, NM. She was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Teresa Ann.

Dorothy is survived by her husband. Sons Richard Durane Hayes and Skippy both of Fritch. Daughter Janice Bell Hallford of New Bern, NC. Sisters Norma Johnson, Beatrice Cumings both of Fritch and Vera lee White of Edgewood, NM. Grandchildren DeeDee Ann Meadows and Richard Hayes Jr. Many Great Grandchildren.
