Dorothy Heeter

Dorothy Blantena Heeter, 91, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

Graveside service will be held at 3:30 pm on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Westlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Don Cheshire officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Dorothy was born September 24, 1926 in Hopewell, Pennsylvania to Soloman and Maye Hixon Fink. She married Robert C. Heeter on August 14, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland. Dorothy enjoyed knitting, working puzzles and playing solitaire.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; son, Galen; brother, Harold Fink; and sister, Audrey Carson.

Survivors include her sons, Gary Heeter and wife Linda of Fritch, Barry Heeter and wife Gloria of Baltimore, Maryland; daughter, Kay Merris and husband Richard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; sisters, LaRue Witmer, Ruby Calhoun, Velma Carson, Mary Edna Ramsey; and a host of extended family.
