Dorothy Yates

Fritch Dorothy Ida Yates, 80, of Fritch died Friday Oct. 2, 2009 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday October 6th at Westlawn Cemetery with Terry Stegall associate pastor at Grace Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will be in the Devotion Garden at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. Dorothy was born Sept. 12, 1929 at Horton, KS to Homer and Etel Cox. Dorothy married George Yates June 5, 1949 at Borger. She was a bookkeeper for Lewis Supply until she retired. She loved cooking, needle point and water colorers. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and sister. She is survived by her husband of Fritch, Son Larry Yates of Amarillo, Daughters Sue Love of Pampa and Pam McCormick of Roswell, NM, Sisters Maxine Baker of Centenial, CO and Marilyn Shepherd of Pampa, TX, Four Grandchildren and three great grandchildren.BR BR
