Doyle Whitefield

Doyle Henry Whitefield, 92 of Borger died on Thursday, June 5 in Spearman. Services will be 2:00 pmMonday, June 9, at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hutchinson officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Doyle was born May 24, 1922 to John P. and Leah Henry Whitefield in Roan Oak, Texas. He married Dorothy Brooks in 1948. He loved to fish and play golf. Doyle loved all sports. He was president of the Frank Phillips College Booster Club. Doyle was a member and a Deacon of Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a member of Gideons.

Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.

Doyle is survived by his wife Dorothy of Spearman his son, Mike Whitefield of Midland his sister, Lalah Smith of Durham, TX He is also survived by his two grandsons, Derick and Caleb, both of Midland. Four Great Grandchildren

The family will be having a visitation at the Minton Chatwell in Borger on Sunday, June 8, from 57 p.m.
