Dylan David Roybal, 27, passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 in Canon City, Colorado.
Funeral services will be held 11 am on Thursday, August 8, 2019 in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Dylan was born August 22, 1991 in Overland Park, Kansas to David and Jeanna McLaughlin Roybal. Dylan was full of life and lived it to the fullest. Dylan had a big heart, loved his family and never met a stranger.
He liked to dance or what he called jerking. He enjoyed rock collecting, being outdoors and living near the mountains. Dylan played the drums and inherited his musical abilities and his art of creating poetry from both of his grandfathers. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Sam McLaughlin, Manuel Roybal and Katherine Saldana; uncle, Alan “Bubba” McLaughlin; aunt, Starla Ervin; and cousin, Bryan Roybal.
Survivors include his parents; David and Jeanna Roybal of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; brother, Ryan Luna of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Nikki Jackson and husband Bo of Jacksonville, Texas; nephews, Jaston Jackson, Bobby Jackson, Aidan Luna; niece, Samantha Henderson; grandmother, Vada McLaughlin of Borger; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
