Earl Preston Edwards, 83, died Thursday, March 5, 2009 in Borger.BRBRServices will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Andy Dietz, Associate Pastor of the 1st Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors.BRBRMr. Edwards was born on December 22, 1925 in Clemscott, OK and had been a Borger resident since 1932. He was the street superintendent for the City of Borger and member of the Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II.BRBRSurvivors include his son Eddie Edwards and wife Cambden of Borger, two sisters - Gloria Edwards of Midland, Tx., Gladys Pasker of Hermitage, PA, two grandchildren - Thomas Edwards and James Edwards and one great-grandchild Kaden Edwards.
