Edna Ruth South, 77, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Borger, Texas.BRBRGraveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Restland Memorial Park in Garland, Tx. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger and Restland Memorial Park in Garland, TX.BRBREdna was born on December 20, 1930 in Beaver Co., Oklahoma and had been a Borger resident since 1998, moving here from Mobeetie. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She married Billie South in Clovis, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie, her parents, Vernie Roy Bertha Eagan, son - Jerry Dean South and seven brothers and sisters.BRBRHer passions were homemaking and gardening.BRBRShe is survived by two sons - William Joseph South of Borger, James South of Amarillo, brother - Bobby Donna Eagan of Borger, four sisters - Janet Demos Babbs of Pampa, Lois Herdman of Bonner Springs, KS, Etta Berline Mowery of Ramona, CA., Gloria Jones of Borger and four grandchildren.
