Edwardine Bishop

Edwardine Bishop, 95, our beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away on April 13, 2021 in Amarillo. Visitation for family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday April 30 at the Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba, TX.  Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1 at Resthaven Cemetery in Brady, TX.

Edwardine was born August 24, 1925 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Edward Wignal Linaker and Laura Louella Heikes Linaker.  She lived most of her life in Longview, TX where she was a member of the Moberly Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.  She owned and operated a Fabric Shop and taught cake decorating and sewing.  She has been a resident of Fritch for the past three plus years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Scott, three brothers, one sister and her grandson.

Edwardine is survived by her six sons; Walter Bishop, Jr. and his wife Vada of San Saba, TX, Win Bishop and his wife Edwina of Fritch, Tim Bishop and his wife Alice of Forney, TX, Randy Bishop and his wife Rebecca of Tennessee, Mike Bishop and his wife Linda of Hilltop Lakes, TX, and Billy Bishop and his wife Brenda of Hallsville, TX, and her daughter Barbara Honea and her husband John of Kilgore, TX, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Edwardine's name to The Shriners  Hospital for Children, St. Judes Hospital or your favorite charity.
