Edwina Martinez

Edwina Antonia Martinez, 79 of Borger died Sunday October 14, 2012 in Borger. Roasry will be 7:00 pm Monday October 15th at St. Johns Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Tuesday at St. John,s Catholic Church with Father Richard Zanetti officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Edwina was born July 27, 1933 at New Kirk, NM. She married Casiano Casey Martinez August 3, 1951 at Clovis, NM. She had been a resident of Borger for 34 years. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her mother Abelina Barela, sister Nancy Sena, brothers Moises Barela and Joe Barela.

She is survived by her husband Casey of the home. Sons Tony and wife Trini Martinez of Henderson , NV, Daniel and wife Elvia Martinez of Amarillo, Ray and Loretta Martinez of Amarillo and Joseph and Yolanda Sena of San Angelo, TX. Daughters Diana and Mike Springfield of Denver, CO, and Lilly and Kevin Totty of Amarillo. Eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
